Thank you for visiting our website and for taking the time to learn about the wonderful Wakefield region. We’re very passionate about our roles as hosts and owners of the establishment, and we take a tremendous amount of pride in seeing that our guests leave our bed and breakfast feeling like they’ve found a new home away from home.
Having lived in various places across Canada, we chose the village of Wakefield as our home because of the stunning natural setting. We wake up to deer in the forest visiting us on many mornings! We’re also very fond of its proximity to the Nation’s capital which provides a nice balance in our lifestyles. It’s also refreshing to live so close to an inspiring artistic community that adds incredible richness to the region that we love.
As a Professional Engineer by trade, I designed the inn with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. All of the beautiful decor was designed or hand selected by my wonderful partner Lucie. We have developed a deep connection to our francophone roots and are proud to offer a fully bilingual environment for our guests. Likewise, we believe in the healing powers of kindness and compassion and we live our lives in a way that strengthens this philosophy.
